The **Lokkaren Bridge** ([Norwegian](/source/Norwegian_language): *Lokkarbrua or Lokkaren bru*) is a [suspension bridge](/source/Suspension_bridge) in [Namsos Municipality](/source/Namsos_Municipality) in [Trøndelag](/source/Tr%C3%B8ndelag) county, [Norway](/source/Norway). The bridge crosses the [Lokkarsundet](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Lokkarsundet&action=edit&redlink=1) [strait](/source/Strait) that runs between the mainland of Namsos and the island of [Otterøya](/source/Otter%C3%B8ya). The bridge is located about 6 kilometres (4 mi) northwest of the [town of Namsos](/source/Namsos_(town)). The 435-metre-long (1,427 ft) bridge was opened on 2 December 1977.[1]
