==Description==
The shell has a depressed turbinate shape and a deep [umbilicus](/source/Umbilicus_(mollusc)). The sculpture consists of a number of spiral keels. The circular [aperture](/source/Aperture_(mollusc)) is oblique and shows a prominent [varix](/source/Varix_(mollusc)). The [peristome](/source/Peristome_(gastropod)) is continuous.
