The first half of ''Locust Star'' is performed by [Neurosis](/source/Neurosis_(band)), while the second half features more experimental [dark ambient](/source/dark_ambient) music by [Tribes of Neurot](/source/Tribes_of_Neurot) (a side project which includes memebrs of Neurosis, with occasional other collaborators).
