# Lloyd Colteryahn

**Lloyd Kenneth Colteryahn** (August 26, 1931 – May 2, 2011) was an American professional [football](/source/American_football) [end](/source/End_(gridiron_football)). After playing [college football](/source/College_football) for the [Maryland Terrapins](/source/Maryland_Terrapins_football), he was selected by the [Pittsburgh Steelers](/source/Pittsburgh_Steelers) in the fourth round of the [1953 NFL draft](/source/1953_NFL_draft).[1] Colteryahn played professionally in the [National Football League](/source/National_Football_League) (NFL) for three seasons, from 1954 to 1956, with the [Baltimore Colts](/source/Baltimore_Colts).[2] Colteryahn died in [Dunedin, Florida](/source/Dunedin,_Florida), his winter home, on May 2, 2011, after a brief illness.
