The seat of the parish, which is the village of Lloa, lies west of the southern part of the city of [Quito](/source/Quito) and approximately southeast of [Guagua Pichincha](/source/Guagua_Pichincha) Volcano, surrounded by some foothills of the Pichincha Volcano.
