**Liverpool Everton** was a [borough constituency](/source/Borough_constituency) represented in the [House of Commons](/source/House_of_Commons_of_the_United_Kingdom) of the [Parliament of the United Kingdom](/source/Parliament_of_the_United_Kingdom). It elected one [Member of Parliament](/source/Member_of_Parliament_(United_Kingdom)) (MP) by the [first past the post](/source/First_past_the_post) system of election.

## History

The constituency was created by the [Redistribution of Seats Act 1885](/source/Redistribution_of_Seats_Act_1885) for the [1885 general election](/source/1885_United_Kingdom_general_election), and abolished for the [1950 general election](/source/1950_United_Kingdom_general_election).

## Boundaries

**1885–1918**: Part of the civil parish of Everton.

**1918–1950**: The County Borough of Liverpool wards of Everton and Netherfield.
