Not to be confused with [Litungu](/source/Litungu).

The ***Litunga*** of [Barotseland](/source/Barotseland) (in [Zambia](/source/Zambia)) is the King of the [Lozi people](/source/Lozi_people) (also called "Barotse").[1] The *Litunga* resides near the [Zambezi River](/source/Zambezi_River) and the town of [Mongu](/source/Mongu), at [Lealui](/source/Lealui) on the floodplain in the dry season, and on higher ground at [Limulunga](/source/Limulunga) on the edge of the floodplain in the wet season. The *Litunga* moves between these locations in what is known as the [Kuomboka](/source/Kuomboka) ceremony.[2]

The current *Litunga* is Lubosi [Imwiko II](/source/Imwiko_II).
