'''Lista Lighthouse''' ({{langx|no|Lista fyr}}) is a [coastal lighthouse](/source/coastal_lighthouse) located at the western side of the [Lista](/source/Lista_(peninsula)) peninsula, a short distance northwest of the village of [Vestbygd](/source/Vestbygd%2C_Vest-Agder) in [Farsund Municipality](/source/Farsund_Municipality) in [Agder](/source/Agder) county, [Norway](/source/Norway). The lighthouse sits on a cape on the edge of the [Listafjorden](/source/Listafjorden) which marks the extreme southwestern edge of the mainland of Norway. The lighthouse had a foghorn that was used from 1877 until 1987. In 1937, the station began emitting a [racon](/source/racon) signal of the [morse code](/source/morse_code) letter "G".<ref name="snl">{{Cite encyclopedia |title=Lista fyr |encyclopedia=[Store norske leksikon](/source/Store_norske_leksikon) |publisher=Kunnskapsforlaget |location=Oslo |url=http://snl.no/Lista_fyr |editor-last=Henriksen, Petter |language=Norwegian |accessdate=28 September 2011}}</ref>

The {{convert|34|m|adj=on}} tall unpainted granite tower was first lit in 1836, but it was rebuilt in 1853. The light sits at an elevation of {{convert|39.5|m}} and it emits a white flash of light every four seconds. The 1,026,000-[candela](/source/candela) light can be seen in all directions for up to {{convert|17.5|nmi|km mi}}.<ref>{{Cite rowlett|nors2|date=19 July 2011|access-date=2016-10-03}}</ref><ref>{{Cite book |last=Kystverket |url=http://153.44.6.20/fyrlister/Fyrliste_HeleLandet.pdf |title=Norske Fyrliste 2014 |year=2014 |isbn=9788245015959 |language=Norwegian |format=PDF |author-link=Norwegian Coastal Administration |access-date=2016-10-02 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20180612143229/http://153.44.6.20/fyrlister/Fyrliste_HeleLandet.pdf |archive-date=2018-06-12 |url-status=dead}}</ref>

In 2003, the station was automated and the buildings were turned over to [Vest-Agder](/source/Vest-Agder) county. The site is now used as a museum that is open daily during the summer months.
