***Light of Heart*** (German: ***Leichtes Blut***) is a 1943 German [comedy film](/source/Comedy_film) directed by [Carl Boese](/source/Carl_Boese) and starring [Hans Nielsen](/source/Hans_Nielsen_(actor)), [Carola Höhn](/source/Carola_H%C3%B6hn), [Werner Fuetterer](/source/Werner_Fuetterer) and [Hansi Wendler](/source/Hansi_Wendler).[1][2] It was shot at the [Johannisthal Studios](/source/Johannisthal_Studios) in [Berlin](/source/Berlin). The film's sets were designed by the [art directors](/source/Art_director) [Franz Koehn](/source/Franz_Koehn) and [Hans Kuhnert](/source/Hans_Kuhnert).[3]

## Synopsis

Professor Faber, an [entomologist](/source/Entomologist), is in love with Herta but is alarmed by the time she spends with the [sculptor](/source/Sculptor) Karl. He is filled with jealousy when he mistakenly believes that a nude [statuette](/source/Statuette) produced by Karl is based on Herta as the [model](/source/Model_(art)). Encouraged in his jealousy by his housekeeper Christine, he decides to take out his [secretary](/source/Secretary) Doris who is in fact in a relationship with Karl. Ultimately, the confusions are cleared up and Fabery and Herta become engaged.
