# Libis Arenas

**Libis Andrés Arenas Murillo** (born 12 May 1987) is a retired Colombian [football (soccer)](/source/Football_(soccer)) [goalkeeper](/source/Goalkeeper_(association_football)).

He started his career with [Envigado Fútbol Club](/source/Envigado_F%C3%BAtbol_Club). [S.S. Lazio](/source/S.S._Lazio) then made a deal to buy him, but did not include him in the first team in order not to fill a non-EU spot in the squad. He was on loan to Envigado in January 2007.[1] He had also been on trial to [Sporting Clube de Portugal](/source/Sporting_Clube_de_Portugal) in early 2007.[2]

He was sold to Mérida UD and loaned to Central Español.[2]

He is the third Colombian [2005 U-20 World Cup](/source/2005_FIFA_World_Youth_Championship) player following [Abel Aguilar](/source/Abel_Aguilar) and [Cristián Zapata](/source/Cristi%C3%A1n_Zapata) to be signed by an Italian club.
