The parish of Lezant is in the [Launceston](/source/Launceston%2C_Cornwall) registration district. The county border with [Devon](/source/Devon) forms the parish's eastern boundary. It is bounded on the north by [South Petherwin](/source/South_Petherwin) and [Lawhitton](/source/Lawhitton).

*[Matthew Sutcliffe](/source/Matthew_Sutcliffe), [Dean of Exeter](/source/Dean_of_Exeter) for over 40 years from 1588 was also Rector of Lezant from 1594.
