**Lev Vladimirovich Kuznetsov** (Russian: Лев Владимирович Кузнецов, IPA: [\[ˈlʲef vlɐˈdʲimʲɪrəvʲɪtɕ kʊzʲnʲɪˈtsof\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA/Russian); born April 25, 1965) is a Russian politician and businessman. Since 2015 he has served as the Russian Minister for North Caucasus Affairs. From February 2010 to May 2014, Kuznetsov was the Governor of [Krasnoyarsk Krai](/source/Krasnoyarsk_Krai).

He graduated from the [State Finance Academy](/source/Finance_University_under_the_Government_of_the_Russian_Federation) in 1990.[2]

## Career

Previously he was an advisor on Economic Matters to Governor [Alexander Khloponin](/source/Alexander_Khloponin), the acting mayor of [Norilsk](/source/Norilsk), and Khloponin's First Deputy Governor from 2003 to 2007.[3]

From June 2020 to September 2023 he was the General Director of Intergeo Management Company LLC.[2]
