His father is [Taiwanese](/source/Taiwan)[2][3] and his [stage name](/source/Stage_name) comes from the Scottish artist [Douglas Gordon](/source/Douglas_Gordon).[2] He notably studied [cello](/source/Cello) and [guitar](/source/Guitar).[4] ## Career Mifune began creating his first tracks under the pseudonym Morning Crash, when he began learning how to make [computer-aided music](/source/Computer_music).[5] His current stage name, Les Gordon, is a reference to [Douglas Gordon](/source/Douglas_Gordon), videographer and visual artist; "[Les](/source/Les_(given_name))" is an English name that references British artists such as Four Tet, Gold Panda, Mount Kimbie and many others.[6] Mifune has been an opening act for [Stromae](/source/Stromae) ([Rencontres Trans Musicales](/source/Rencontres_Trans_Musicales) of 2013), [Madeon](/source/Madeon) ([Le Trianon](/source/Le_Trianon_(theatre))) and [Fauve](/source/Fauve_(collective))[1][7] (eighteen representations [2]). He composed *Saisons* (2014), *Les cheveux longs* (2015) and *Atlas* (2016),[7] along with a collaboration [EP](/source/Extended_Play), *Croquis n°1* (2015).[2] and signed to the French label [Kitsuné](/source/Kitsun%C3%A9)[7] after leaving the label Allo Floride.[4] He has a band, which is called Singapour (2015), where Gordon is a producer and his friend Roman Oswald writes lyrics.[5] He is featured in several duos such as Mondrian with Roman Oswald[8] and Leska with Douchka.[9] Nearly in 2018, Mifune was signed to French subdivision of [Sony Music's](/source/Sony_Music) record label [Arista Records](/source/Arista_Records). In the same year, he released his [long-play album](/source/Long_Play_Album) *La*. This album included song *Flirting With June*, that was used in [Apple's](/source/Apple_Inc.)
