**Lepadidae** is a [family](/source/Family_(taxonomy)) of [goose barnacles](/source/Goose_barnacle), erected by [Charles Darwin](/source/Charles_Darwin) in 1852.[2] There are about five genera and more than 20 described species in Lepadidae.[3][4]
