**Leonid Yakovlevich Simanovsky** ([Russian](/source/Russian_language): Леонид Яковлевич Симановский; July 19, 1949) is a Russian businessman and political figure, serving as a deputy in the [State Duma](/source/State_Duma) from the [United Russia](/source/United_Russia) party list since 2003.[1]

From 1996 to 2001, Simanovsky was a vice-president at [Yukos](/source/Yukos), then one of the largest petroleum firms in Russia. In 2000, he founded and headed the company "Khimpromindustriya". In [2003](/source/2003_Russian_legislative_election), [2007](/source/2007_Russian_legislative_election), [2011](/source/2011_Russian_legislative_election), [2016](/source/2016_Russian_legislative_election), and [2021](/source/2021_Russian_legislative_election), he was consecutively elected as a deputy for the [4th](/source/4th_State_Duma), [5th](/source/5th_State_Duma), [6th](/source/6th_State_Duma), [7th](/source/7th_State_Duma), and [8th](/source/8th_State_Duma) convocations of the State Duma.[1][2] As a deputy, he belongs to the State Duma Committee on Budget & Taxes.[3]
