**Leonard Dick** is a television writer and producer who writes for *[The Good Wife](/source/The_Good_Wife)*.

Leonard was born in [Toronto](/source/Toronto), [Ontario](/source/Ontario), and attended high school at [Upper Canada College](/source/Upper_Canada_College), where he was elected head of [Howard's House](/source/Upper_Canada_College_houses#Howard's)[*[broken anchor](/source/MOS%3ABROKENSECTIONLINKS)*], and thus served on the [Board of Stewards](/source/Upper_Canada_College_Board_of_Stewards). He graduated from [Harvard University](/source/Harvard_University) with both a BA and MBA.

He worked on the first two seasons of the [ABC](/source/American_Broadcasting_Company) [television series](/source/Television_series) *[Lost](/source/Lost_(2004_TV_series))*, garnering him a [Writers Guild of America (WGA) Award](/source/Writers_Guild_of_America_Awards), as well as an [Emmy](/source/Emmy) for Outstanding Drama. Dick and the writing staff won the WGA Award for Best Dramatic Series at the [February 2006 ceremony](/source/Writers_Guild_of_America_Awards_2005) for their work on the [first](/source/Lost_(season_1)) and [second](/source/Lost_(season_2)) seasons of *Lost*.[1] They were nominated for the WGA Award for Best Dramatic Series again at the [February 2007 ceremony](/source/Writers_Guild_of_America_Awards_2006) for their work on the second and [third](/source/Lost_(season_3)) seasons.[2] Dick was later a writer and supervising producer for [House](/source/House_(TV_series)), where he shared three nominations for Outstanding Drama at the Emmys,[3] as well as a writer, co-executive producer, and executive producer for *[The Good Wife](/source/The_Good_Wife),* spanning more 129 episodes,[4] receiving another Outstanding Drama Series Emmy nomination.[5]
