**Len Roberts** (March 13, 1947 – May 25, 2007) was an American [poet](/source/Poet).[1]

## Life

He graduated from [Siena College](/source/Siena_College), the [University of Dayton](/source/University_of_Dayton) with a master's degree, and from [Lehigh University](/source/Lehigh_University) with a Ph.D.

He presented some of his work at [Lafayette College](/source/Lafayette_College). [Allen Ginsberg](/source/Allen_Ginsberg) sent his manuscript to a publisher which was *Cohoes Theater*.

He translated three books of Hungarian poet [Sándor Csoóri](/source/S%C3%A1ndor_Cso%C3%B3ri), whose writing helped to inspire the [Hungarian Revolution of 1956](/source/Hungarian_Revolution_of_1956).

He taught at the [University of Pittsburgh](/source/University_of_Pittsburgh), [Muhlenberg College](/source/Muhlenberg_College), [Lafayette College](/source/Lafayette_College), and [Northampton Community College](/source/Northampton_Community_College) (for 33 years).[2]
