***Lemniscia*** is a [genus](/source/Genus) of air-breathing [land snails](/source/Land_snail), [terrestrial](/source/Terrestrial_animal) [pulmonate](/source/Pulmonate) [gastropod](/source/Gastropod) [mollusks](/source/Mollusks) in the family [Geomitridae](/source/Geomitridae), the hairy snails and their allies.[1]
