**Clarence Franklin "Lefty" Hopper** (May 27, 1874 in [Jersey City, New Jersey](/source/Jersey_City,_New_Jersey) – September 27, 1959 in [San Diego](/source/San_Diego)) was an American [pitcher](/source/Pitcher) in [Major League Baseball](/source/Major_League_Baseball). He played in two games for the [Brooklyn Bridegrooms](/source/History_of_the_Brooklyn_Dodgers) during the 1898 season.
