# Lefty Bell

**Charles "Lefty" Bell** was an American [baseball](/source/Baseball) [pitcher](/source/Pitcher) in the [Negro leagues](/source/Negro_League_baseball).[1] He played with the [Homestead Grays](/source/Homestead_Grays) during their [1948 Negro World Series](/source/1948_Negro_World_Series) championship season.[2]
