**Left for Independence** ([Spanish](/source/Spanish_language): *Izquierdas por la Independencia*; [Catalan](/source/Catalan_language): *Esquerres per la Independència*; [Basque](/source/Basque_language): *Independentzia Ezkerretik*) is a Spanish [electoral alliance](/source/Electoral_alliance) formed by [Republican Left of Catalonia](/source/Republican_Left_of_Catalonia) (ERC) and [EH Bildu](/source/EH_Bildu) ahead of the [2023 Spanish Senate election](/source/2023_Spanish_general_election). Both parties had already formed a joint [parliamentary group](/source/Parliamentary_group) in the [Spanish Senate](/source/Spanish_Senate) during the 2019–2023 period.[1]
