'''''Le Messager des Chambres''''' was a French newspaper whose founder was the [vicount de Martignac](/source/Jean_Baptiste_Gay%2C_vicomte_de_Martignac), [ultra-royalist](/source/ultra-royalist) who fought against the laws of [censorship in France](/source/censorship_in_France) under the [July Monarchy](/source/July_Monarchy).

Among the editors were [Charles Rabou](/source/Charles_Rabou) (1803–1871), the [stenographs](/source/Stenography) [Hippolyte Prévost](/source/Hippolyte_Pr%C3%A9vost), [Augustin Grosselin](/source/Augustin_Grosselin), [Armand Malitourne](/source/Armand_Malitourne), Hippolyte Lamarche...

In 1827, the historian [Jean-Baptiste Honoré Raymond Capefigue](/source/Jean-Baptiste_Honor%C3%A9_Raymond_Capefigue) became chief editor of the paper before the publication was taken over by [Alexandre Colonna-Walewski](/source/Alexandre_Colonna-Walewski), Count Walewski.

The paper was printed at least from 1828 to 1852.
