Sir '''Lazarus Fletcher''' (3 March 1854 – 6 January 1921) was a [British](/source/UK) [geologist](/source/geologist).<ref>{{cite magazine|title=FLETCHER, Lazarus|magazine=Who's Who|year=1907|volume= 59|page=612|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=yEcuAAAAYAAJ&pg=PA612}}</ref>  He was elected a [Fellow of the Royal Society](/source/Fellow_of_the_Royal_Society) in 1889 and won the [Wollaston Medal](/source/Wollaston_Medal) of the [Geological Society](/source/Geological_Society) in 1912. Fletcher was Keeper of Mineralogy at the [Natural History Museum](/source/Natural_History_Museum%2C_London) from 1880 to 1909, and director from 1909 to 1919.<ref name="BN" />
