**Laurence Jackson** (16 September 1900 in [Carnwath](/source/Carnwath), South Lanarkshire – 27 July 1984 in [Biggar, South Lanarkshire](/source/Biggar%2C_South_Lanarkshire)) was a Scottish [curler](/source/Curling). He was part of the [Royal Caledonian Curling Club](/source/Royal_Caledonian_Curling_Club) team that won the first [Olympic Gold medal](/source/Olympic_Gold_medal) in curling at the [inaugural Winter Olympics](/source/Inaugural_Winter_Olympics) in [Chamonix](/source/Chamonix), France, in 1924.[1]

He was the son of fellow gold-medalist [Willie Jackson](/source/William_Jackson_(curler)).
