**Laura Daniel** (born 25 November 1990) is an actress and comedian from [New Zealand](/source/New_Zealand).

## Career

She currently reports on television show *[Seven Sharp](/source/Seven_Sharp)*. Previously, she has starred in the television series *[Funny Girls](/source/Funny_Girls_(TV_series))* and *[Jono and Ben](/source/Jono_and_Ben)*.[1]

She has also worked on *[7 Days](/source/7_Days_(New_Zealand_game_show))*.[2] She was the voice of Riley in the animated television series *The Barefoot Bandits* and has performed in theater and musical theater productions. Daniel also sang "This Is For My Girls" with [Teuila Blakely](/source/Teuila_Blakely), Daisy Lawless, [Lucy Lawless](/source/Lucy_Lawless), Saraid Cameron, [Kimberley Crossman](/source/Kimberley_Crossman), [Kura Forrester](/source/Kura_Forrester), and Ilah Cooper.

Daniel won series 2 of *[Taskmaster New Zealand](/source/Taskmaster_New_Zealand)* in 2021.[3] The same year she appeared on the panel show *[Patriot Brains](/source/Patriot_Brains)*.

She is a fan of the [Eurovision Song Contest](/source/Eurovision_Song_Contest) and has campaigned for New Zealand to take part.[4]

In 2023, Daniel appeared on *[Guy Montgomery's Guy Mont-Spelling Bee](/source/Guy_Montgomery's_Guy_Mont-Spelling_Bee)*.

## Personal life

She is in a relationship with fellow comedian [Joseph Moore](/source/Joseph_Moore_(comedian))[5] with whom she performs as the comedy duo Two Hearts.[2] The couple were married in December 2022,[6] and moved to London in 2024.[7]
