# Larry Cribbin

**Lawrence Cribbin** (27 August 1880 – 15 October 1962) was an [Irish](/source/Irish_people) [Gaelic footballer](/source/Gaelic_football) who played as a goalkeeper for the [Kildare](/source/Kildare_GAA) senior team.[1]

Cribbin made his first appearance for the team during the [1901 championship](/source/All-Ireland_Senior_Football_Championship_1901) and was a regular member of the starting fifteen until his retirement after the [1920 championship](/source/All-Ireland_Senior_Football_Championship_1920). During that time he won two [All-Ireland](/source/All-Ireland_Senior_Football_Championship) medals and three [Leinster](/source/Leinster_Senior_Football_Championship) medals. Cribbin was an All-Ireland runner-up on one occasion.

At club level, Cribbin won fourteen county club championship medals in both [hurling](/source/Hurling) and football with his home club of [Clane](/source/Clane_GAA).
