**Langbaurgh Ridge** ([grid reference](/source/Ordnance_Survey_National_Grid) [NZ560121](https://geohack.toolforge.org/geohack.php?pagename=Langbaurgh_Ridge&params=54.501138_N_1.136791_W_region:GB_scale:25000)) is an 8.0 [hectare](/source/Hectare)[1] [geological Site of Special Scientific Interest](/source/Geological_Site_of_Special_Scientific_Interest) near the hamlet of [Langbaurgh](/source/Langbaurgh%2C_North_Yorkshire) in [North Yorkshire](/source/North_Yorkshire), England, [notified](/source/SSSI_notification) in 1986.[1] The site crosses the boundary of the [Redcar and Cleveland](/source/Redcar_and_Cleveland) district and the area covered by the [North Yorkshire](/source/North_Yorkshire_(district)) unitary authority.

The site is identified as being of national importance in the [Geological Conservation Review](/source/Geological_Conservation_Review) for its exposure of the [Cleveland Dyke](/source/Cleveland_Dyke), a [Palaeogene](/source/Palaeogene) [intrusion](/source/Intrusion) associated with the [Mull central volcanic complex](/source/Geology_of_Mull#Palaeogene_volcanism).
