**Lamine Fomba** (born 26 January 1998) is a French professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays as a [midfielder](/source/Midfielder) for [Swiss Super League](/source/Swiss_Super_League) club [Servette](/source/Servette_FC).[1] He is a former [under-17](/source/France_national_under-17_football_team) international for France.

## Personal life

Lamine Fomba was born in [Rosny-sous-Bois](/source/Rosny-sous-Bois), France. He holds [French](/source/French_nationality_law) and [Malian](/source/Malian_nationality_law) nationalities.[2]

## Club career

Fomba signed his first professional contract for Auxerre on 13 May 2016.[3] Fomba made his professional debut for Auxerre in a 2–0 loss to [AC Ajaccio](/source/AC_Ajaccio) on 20 September 2016 in the [Ligue 2](/source/Ligue_2).[4]

On 28 January 2023, Fomba signed a contract with [Saint-Étienne](/source/AS_Saint-%C3%89tienne) until June 2025.[5]

On 25 July 2025, Fomba moved to [Servette](/source/Servette_FC) in Switzerland on a three-year contract.[6]

## International career

Fomba represented the [France national under-17 football team](/source/France_national_under-17_football_team) at the [2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup](/source/2015_FIFA_U-17_World_Cup), making 2 appearances.[7]
