**La Perla** is a [district](/source/Districts_of_Peru) of [Callao](/source/Callao), [Peru](/source/Peru). Formerly an upper-class [seaside resort](/source/Balneario) that included the summer residence of the [President of Peru](/source/President_of_Peru) during the early 20th century, it was officially established as a district on October 22, 1964.

The current [mayor](/source/Mayor) of La Perla is Rodolfo Mariano Adrianzen Castañeda.

## Geography

The district has a total land [area](/source/Area) of 2.75 km². Its administrative center is located 18 meters above [sea level](/source/Sea_level).
