**Kynosargous** ([Greek](/source/Greek_language): Κυνοσάργους [\[ci.noˈsaɾ.ɣus\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA/Greek)), up until 1908 known as **Dourgouti**[a][1] ([Greek](/source/Greek_language): Δουργούτι [\[ðuɾˈɣuti\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA/Greek)), is a small [neighborhood](/source/Neighborhood) of [Athens](/source/Athens), [Greece](/source/Greece).

It is named after the [Cynosarges](/source/Cynosarges) which is thought to have been in the area in antiquity.

It is served by [Syngrou–Fix station](/source/Syngrou%E2%80%93Fix_station) on [Line 2](/source/Line_2_(Athens_Metro)) of the [Athens Metro](/source/Athens_Metro).
