He played [fullback](/source/Fullback_(American_football)) for the [Colorado State Rams](/source/Colorado_State_Rams) from 2004 to 2008. He was signed as an [undrafted free agent](/source/undrafted_free_agent) by the [Jacksonville Jaguars](/source/Jacksonville_Jaguars) on April 26, 2009 after the [2009 NFL draft](/source/2009_NFL_draft).

Bell tore his ACL and was waived by the Jaguars on June 23, 2009.
