The **Kuwait Ice Hockey Association** ([Arabic](/source/Arabic_language): الاتحاد الكويتي لهوكي الجليد) is the governing body of [ice hockey](/source/Ice_hockey) in [Kuwait](/source/Kuwait). Kuwait had originally joined the [International Ice Hockey Federation](/source/International_Ice_Hockey_Federation) (IIHF) in 1985, but was expelled in 1992 due to a lack of ice hockey activity.[1] Kuwait was re-admitted into the IIHF on 8 May 2009.[2]
