**Kushtia-2** is a constituency represented in the [Jatiya Sangsad](/source/Jatiya_Sangsad) (National Parliament) of [Bangladesh](/source/Bangladesh). Since 13th February, 2026, This seat is represented by [Md. Abdul Gafur](/source/Abdul_Gafur_(Bangladeshi_politician)), a candidate of [Bangladesh Jaamat-e-Islami.](/source/Bangladesh_Jamaat-e-Islami)

## Boundaries

The constituency encompasses [Bheramara](/source/Bheramara_Upazila) and [Mirpur](/source/Mirpur_Upazila) upazilas.[2][3]

## History

The constituency was created for the first general elections in newly independent Bangladesh, held in 1973.
