It is found in [Cameroon](/source/Cameroon) and [Equatorial Guinea](/source/Equatorial_Guinea).[1] The genus is closely related to *[Argocoffeopsis](/source/Argocoffeopsis)* and *[Calycosiphonia](/source/Calycosiphonia)*.[2]
