**Cuncush**[1][2] ([Ancash Quechua](/source/Ancash_Quechua) for *[Puya raimondii](/source/Puya_raimondii)*)[3] is a mountain in the southern part of the [Cordillera Blanca](/source/Cordillera_Blanca) in the [Andes](/source/Andes) of [Peru](/source/Peru), about 5,000 metres (16,404 ft) high.[2] It is situated in the [Ancash Region](/source/Ancash_Region), [Recuay Province](/source/Recuay_Province), [Catac District](/source/Catac_District).[4] Cuncush lies southwest of [Mururaju](/source/Mururaju) and northwest of [Pukarahu](/source/Pukarahu_(Catac)).[2]
