**Kukshi** is one of the 230 [Vidhan Sabha](/source/Madhya_Pradesh_Vidhan_Sabha) (Legislative Assembly) constituencies of [Madhya Pradesh](/source/Madhya_Pradesh) state in central [India](/source/India).[1] It was founded in 1951 as one of the 79 Vidhan Sabha constituencies of the erstwhile [Madhya Bharat](/source/Madhya_Bharat) state. It is reserved for candidates of the [Scheduled tribes](/source/Adivasi).[2]

Kukshi (constituency number 198) is one of the 7 Vidhan Sabha constituencies located in [Dhar district](/source/Dhar_district). This constituency covers the Kukshi [nagar panchayat](/source/Nagar_panchayat) and part of Kukshi [tehsil](/source/Tehsil) of the district.[3]
