# Kramies

**Kramies** (pronounced Kraim-iss) is an American singer-songwriter, best known for his work with producers [Jason Lytle](/source/Jason_Lytle) of [Grandaddy](/source/Grandaddy), [Patrick Carney](/source/Patrick_Carney) of [The Black Keys](/source/The_Black_Keys), [Jerry Becker](/source/Jerry_Becker) of Train, and [Todd Tobias](/source/Todd_Tobias) of [Guided by Voices](/source/Guided_by_Voices). He has also performed with artists such as [Spiritualized](/source/Spiritualized), [Yo La Tengo](/source/Yo_La_Tengo), [Calexico](/source/Calexico_(band)), and [Tyler Ramsey](/source/Tyler_Ramsey) formally of [Band of Horses](/source/Band_of_Horses). Kramies has been awarded multiple Songs of the Year as well as EP of the year. His current two 2021 singles "Days Of" & "Ohio I’ll Be Fine" entered the US & Canadian collage charts as a Top 10. On September 9, 2022, Kramies released his first self-titled full-length LP, which gained him five Top Albums of the 2022 and two Songs of the Year. After extensive touring overseas and recording Kramies is currently working on a new EP and several soundtracks for 2023–2024. In 2025 Kramies teamed up with Grammy winning producer [Mario J. McNulty](/source/Mario_J._McNulty) best known for his work with [David Bowie](/source/David_Bowie) for what is already being called his best work to date. Kramies’ new album “Goodbye Dreampop Troubadour” release October of 2025
