The **Kota Kinabalu Monorail** is a proposed [monorail](/source/Monorail) line project since 2009 to be constructed in the [Kota Kinabalu](/source/Kota_Kinabalu) area by the [Sabah state government](/source/Government_of_Sabah).[1][2] The proposals generated mixed reactions between mayor and politicians.[3][4][5][6] As reported in the government website, the project was in the [ground breaking](/source/Ground_breaking) process under the Kota Kinabalu development plan.[7]
