'''Koonoomoo''' {{IPAc-en|ˈ|k|uː|n|ᵿ|m|uː}} is a town in northern [Victoria](/source/Victoria_(Australia)), [Australia](/source/Australia).  The town is located in the [Shire of Moira](/source/Shire_of_Moira) [local government area](/source/Local_government_in_Australia), {{convert|264|km|mi|0}} north of the state capital, [Melbourne](/source/Melbourne) on the [Goulburn Valley Highway](/source/Goulburn_Valley_Highway), near the [Murray River](/source/Murray_River).  At the {{CensusAU|2011}}, Koonoomoo had a population of 255.<ref name=abs/>

The town is probably best known for its [strawberry](/source/Garden_Strawberry) farms and the Big Strawberry, part of an Australian trend to build [large roadside attractions](/source/Australia's_big_things).<ref name="Produce">{{cite web

Koonoomoo had a Post Office only for a brief period in 1917.
