# Kola Island

**Kola** is an island in the [Aru Islands](/source/Aru_Islands) in the [Arafura Sea](/source/Arafura_Sea). It is situated in the [Maluku Province](/source/Maluku_Province), [Indonesia](/source/Indonesia). The other five main islands in the archipelago are [Tanahbesar](/source/Tanahbesar) (also called [Wokam](/source/Wokam)), [Kobroor](/source/Kobroor), [Maikoor](/source/Maikoor), [Koba](/source/Koba_Island), and [Trangan](/source/Trangan).[1]

The [Kola language](/source/Kola_language) is spoken on the island.[2]
