'''Kobellite''' is a gray, fibrous, metallic [mineral](/source/mineral) with the chemical formula {{chem2|Pb22Cu4(Bi,Sb)30S69}}. It is also a sulfide mineral consisting of [antimony](/source/antimony), [bismuth](/source/bismuth), and [lead](/source/lead). It is a member of the [izoklakeite](/source/izoklakeite) – [berryite](/source/berryite) series with [silver](/source/silver) and [iron](/source/iron) substituting in the [copper](/source/copper) site and a varying ratio of bismuth, antimony, and lead. It crystallizes with [monoclinic](/source/monoclinic) pyramidal crystals. The mineral can be found in ores and deposits of Hvena, [Sweden](/source/Sweden); Ouray, [Colorado](/source/Colorado); and Wake County, [North Carolina](/source/North_Carolina), US. The mineral was named after [Wolfgang Franz von Kobell](/source/Wolfgang_Franz_von_Kobell) (1803–1882), a [German](/source/List_of_famous_German_people) mineralogist.
