# Klik Records

Klik Records was a music label based in [London](/source/London), England. It was founded in 1975 by former [Trojan Records](/source/Trojan_Records) employees Joe Sinclair and Desmond Bryan, along with Larry Sevitt.[1] Klik described itself as a "progressive Black Music Company, specialising in rebel-dread Reggae, modern Soul and Disco sounds."[2]

Before the company's demise in 1977, it released several dozen singles and albums which were distributed first by [Island Records](/source/Island_Records), and then [RCA Records](/source/RCA_Records). Among the artists whose recordings it released in the UK were Willie Lindo, [Tapper Zukie](/source/Tapper_Zukie), [Delroy Washington](/source/Delroy_Washington), Bag-O-Wire, [Cornell Campbell](/source/Cornell_Campbell), [The Abyssinians](/source/The_Abyssinians), Bunny Scott ( later known as [Bunny Rugs](/source/Bunny_Rugs) ), [Lee "Scratch" Perry](/source/Lee_%22Scratch%22_Perry), [The Upsetters](/source/The_Upsetters), [King Tubby](/source/King_Tubby) And [The Aggrovators](/source/The_Aggrovators) ( "Shalom Dub" ), Barrington Spence, [U Brown](/source/U_Brown), [Big Youth](/source/Big_Youth), [John Holt (singer)](/source/John_Holt_(singer)),[Jackie Edwards (musician)](/source/Jackie_Edwards_(musician)), [Pablo Moses](/source/Pablo_Moses), [The Slickers](/source/The_Slickers) and [Eric Gale](/source/Eric_Gale). Most Klik products were originally recorded in Jamaica for release by other labels.

Klik Records ceased operations in 1977.
