The **Kjellingstraumen Bridge** ([Norwegian](/source/Norwegian_language): *Kjellingstraumen bru or Kjellingstraumbrua*) is a [suspension bridge](/source/Suspension_bridge) that crosses the Kjellingsundet strait at the mouth of the [Beiar Fjord](/source/Beiar_Fjord) ([Norwegian](/source/Norwegian_language): *Beiarfjorden*) in [Gildeskål Municipality](/source/Gildesk%C3%A5l_Municipality), [Nordland](/source/Nordland) county, [Norway](/source/Norway). The bridge, which has a total length of 662-metre (2,172 ft), carries [Norwegian County Road 17](/source/Norwegian_County_Road_17). It was opened in 1975, featuring the longest span of 260 metres (850 ft).[1][2]
