**Marlon Jaro Plunkett**, better known as **Kiprich**, formerly known as *Crazy Kid*, is a popular [Jamaican](/source/Jamaica) [dancehall](/source/Dancehall) [deejay](/source/Deejay_(Jamaican)). He, like his mentor [Elephant Man](/source/Elephant_Man_(musician)), is a member of [The Alliance](/source/The_Alliance_(dancehall)), a group of Gangsta-themed deejays.

Plunkett was born in [Linstead](/source/Linstead), [St. Catherine](/source/Saint_Catherine_Parish), and raised in the Waterhouse district of [Kingston](/source/Kingston%2C_Jamaica).[1] He attended Ardenne High School and was still a student when he had his first hit with "Leggo Di Bwoi", a collaboration with Chino; Later followed "Mad Sick Head No Good" together with fellow deejay [Predator](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Predator_(deejay)&action=edit&redlink=1). Also, he wrote the lyrics for [Elephant Man](/source/Elephant_Man_(musician))'s "[Jook Gal](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Jook_Gal&action=edit&redlink=1)", whose remix together with Kiprich himself, [Lil Jon](/source/Lil_Jon) and [The East Side Boyz](/source/The_East_Side_Boyz) entered the [charts](/source/Charts) in 2003 (see [2003 in music](/source/2003_in_music)). He has become known for humorous songs and songs aimed at other deejays, such as "Talk", aimed at Elephant Man, [Beenie Man](/source/Beenie_Man), and [Vybz Kartel](/source/Vybz_Kartel), and "Ca'an Get Brown", aimed at Vybz Kartel.[2]

In 2013 he released the album *Kippo*, which featured [Keisha White](/source/Keisha_White) on the track "My Heart Is a Jail".[3]
