# Kim Adis

**Kim Adis** (born 10 January 1993) is a British-Filipino actress. She is best known for her role as Kitty Wei in the [BBC iPlayer](/source/BBC_iPlayer) series *[Get Even](/source/Get_Even_(TV_series))* (2020).

## Early life

Adis was born in [Cebu City](/source/Cebu_City) in the [Philippines](/source/Philippines) and moved to northern England with her mother, a nurse, at the age of eight where they settled in [Burnley](/source/Burnley).[1] She studied and graduated in journalism at the [University of Westminster](/source/University_of_Westminster) in 2014.[2][3]

## Career

From 2018 to 2019, Adis had a recurring role as Anda in the [Syfy](/source/Syfy) series *[Krypton](/source/Krypton_(TV_series))*. She made her feature film debut in 2019 with a small role in [Daniel Alfredson](/source/Daniel_Alfredson)'s *[Intrigo: Dear Agnes](/source/Intrigo:_Dear_Agnes)*.[4] In 2020, Adis starred in the lead role of Kitty Wei in the [BBC iPlayer](/source/BBC_iPlayer) teen thriller series *[Get Even](/source/Get_Even_(TV_series))*, which had an international release on [Netflix](/source/Netflix).[5][6] She also played Rose in the horror film *[The Turning](/source/The_Turning_(2020_film))* and Clare Mahek in the interactive live action video game *The Complex*.[7]

In 2021, Adis appeared in the [Apple TV+](/source/Apple_TV%2B) series *[Foundation](/source/Foundation_(TV_series))* as Lowre. This was followed in 2022 by roles as Katja Nilssen in the second season of *[Young Wallander](/source/Young_Wallander)* as Katja Nilssen[8] and Ket in the prequel *[The Witcher: Blood Origin](/source/The_Witcher:_Blood_Origin)*, both on Netflix.[9][10]
