The founders of Kilimogo Productions include [Rangimoana Taylor](/source/Rangimoana_Taylor), [Cindy Diver](/source/Cindy_Diver) and [Hilary Halba](/source/Hilary_Halba).<ref name=":0" /><ref>{{Cite web|title=Interact Drama|url=http://www.theatreworks.co.nz/interact/tutors.html|access-date=2021-07-11|website=Theatre Works}}</ref> The intention was to look at theatre from both a [Māori](/source/M%C4%81ori_people) and Pākehā perspective. Founding member Taylor says of this in an interview with Halba, "I sometimes think we go quite painfully, as equals, but we discuss everything."<ref name=":0" />
