'''Khotiv''' is a village in [Obukhiv Raion](/source/Obukhiv_Raion) of [Kyiv Oblast](/source/Kyiv_Oblast), [Ukraine](/source/Ukraine). It hosts the administration of [Feodosiivska rural hromada](/source/Feodosiivska_rural_hromada), one of the [hromada](/source/hromada)s of Ukraine.<ref name="admreform_2020_feodosiivska">{{cite web|title= Феодосиевская громада |url=https://gromada.info/ru/obschina/feodosiivska/ |work=Gromada.info|language= ru|accessdate= 14 August 2022}}</ref> Khotiv adjoins the boundary of [Kyiv](/source/Kyiv) in its southwestern outskirts ([Feofaniia](/source/Feofaniia), [Holosiivskyi District](/source/Holosiivskyi_District)). Population of the village is 4800 inhabitants and 1592 houses (01.01.2006). Territory of the Khotiv rural council embraces villages of Kremenyshche (370 inhabitants, 128 houses) and Kruhlyk (330 inhabitants, 110 houses). Total area of this territory is 2432.7&nbsp;[ha](/source/hectare). Khotiv occupies 768.7&nbsp;ha (68 streets), Kremenyshche 121.1&nbsp;ha (5 streets), Kruhlyk 50.2&nbsp;ha (6 streets).{{Citation needed|date=July 2024}}

The picturesque territory of Khotiv is situated on the side of Kyiv [plateau](/source/plateau), cut by deep valleys and steep [ravine](/source/ravine)s. Khotiv it is divided into two parts by stream Vita (length of 12.6&nbsp;km). There are two ponds.

Khotiv is the location of the [Khotiv hillfort](/source/Khotiv_hillfort) of [Scythian](/source/Scythians) times (6 century BC).

Until 18 July 2020, Khotiv belonged to [Kyiv-Sviatoshyn Raion](/source/Kyiv-Sviatoshyn_Raion). The raion was abolished that day as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Kyiv Oblast to seven. The area of Kyiv-Sviatoshyn Raion was split between [Bucha](/source/Bucha_Raion), [Fastiv](/source/Fastiv_Raion), and Obukhiv raions, with Khotiv being transferred to Obukhiv Raion.<ref>{{Cite news|title=Про утворення та ліквідацію районів.
