**Khondab District** ([Persian](/source/Persian_language): بخش خنداب) is a former administrative division of [Arak County](/source/Arak_County), [Markazi](/source/Markazi_province) province, [Iran](/source/Iran). Its capital was the city of [Khondab](/source/Khondab).[3]

## History

After the 2006 National Census, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of [Khondab County](/source/Khondab_County).[4]

At the time of the 2006 census, the district's population was 59,112 in 15,075 households.[2]
