# Keystone Academy

The **Keystone Academy** (; alternatively **Beijing City Dingshi School**) is a private K–12 school in [Shunyi](/source/Shunyi,_Beijing), [Beijing](/source/Beijing), China. It was founded in 2014. The school offers [IB](/source/International_Baccalaureate) [Middle Year Program](/source/IB_Middle_Years_Programme) for Grade 6–10 and [IB Diploma Program](/source/IB_Diploma_Programme) for Grade 11–12.[1]

Malcolm McKenzie founded Keystone Academy, which opened in 2014.[2][3] Beijing Meilian Wenhua Investment Co., Ltd. (simplified Chinese: 北京美联文华投资有限公司) was one of the school's investors.[4] According to the school, it employs a curriculum that mimics that of [Sidwell Friends School](/source/Sidwell_Friends_School).[5] The [Xinhua News Agency](/source/Xinhua_News_Agency) said that Keystone Academy charged more than CN¥200,000 ([US$](/source/US$)) annually for each student, amounting to "four times the disposable income of an average Beijinger in 2015".[6]
