**Kevon Carter** (14 November 1983 – 28 February 2014) was a Trinidadian professional [soccer](/source/Association_football) player who played as a [forward](/source/Forward_(association_football)) for [Defence Force](/source/Defence_Force_F.C.) and the [Trinidad and Tobago national team](/source/Trinidad_and_Tobago_national_football_team).

## International career

Carter made his [Trinidad and Tobago national team](/source/Trinidad_and_Tobago_national_football_team) début in March 2004 against [Guyana](/source/Guyana_national_football_team),[2] and in April 2008 he scored his first international goal versus [Grenada](/source/Grenada_national_football_team).

## Death

Carter died of a [heart attack](/source/Myocardial_infarction) after feeling chest pains during a training session in the morning of 28 February 2014.[3]
